Everyone needs a break and Mudd Advertising provides generous paid time off in addition to paid holidays. Our paid time off encompasses vacation and sick time.

Flexible Spending Plan
This plan allows employees to put aside pre-tax money to cover medical and dependent care expenses. Flex dollars can cover medical expenses such as co-pays, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, laser eye surgery and many other items. Dependent care dollars cover day care expenses for dependent children.

Safe Harbor 401(k) Retirement Plan
Mudd Advertising offers a 401(k) plan with a company match of 100% for the first three percent employee contributes and a 50% match on the fourth and fifth percent contributed by the employee. A discretionary profit sharing contribution may also be made by the company. Employees are eligible at the beginning of the first full quarter following one year of employment.


Sick Bay
Sick Bay is a day care facility at Sartori Hospital and Covenant Hospital that cares for sick children. The number for Sick Bay is 319-268-3199 (Sartori, Cedar Falls) and 319-272-0110 (Covenant, Waterloo). Their hours are generally 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with some flexibility. Mudd Advertising pays for half of this day care cost.

Employee Assistance Program
Mudd Advertising has partnered with a local hospital to provide pre-paid counseling services for employees and their families. Services include stress management, grief counseling, relationship issues and parenting to name a few. Utilization is completely confidential.

Spot Bonus Program
Mudd employees jump in when a team member needs help. We want to reward initiative and other behavior going above expectations. Managers are able to provide a spot bonus as soon as they see or hear about this type of behavior. The spot bonus amounts vary, starting at $100.

Fitness Center
Mudd Advertising has a state-of-the-art fitness center right on the campus. This 3000 square-foot center offers cardiovascular equipment, free weights and weight machines. The center also has full locker rooms and showers with a free towel service. It is available 24 hours/day, seven days/week for employees and their families.

Full-time employees with Mudd Advertising are eligible for 50% tuition reimbursement if they meet certain requirements and the Chief Executive Officer approves their request:
